I have seen many painters who have painted a bowl of fruit, but for me they all look the same, dead fruits on a table. So I wanted to realize my idea about a bowl of fruit, making it more alive than any other.

Watermelon, oranges, pineapple, bananas, coconut, grapes, strawberry, cherries, apple, pear, and melon, all are in the bowl, just as every other painter has painted them but not really.

So, as you look at my bowl of fruit, it looks like a person, but think of it as a cartoon - where is the apple, the pear and then the peach? The fruit man is on a beach waiting for the high tide to come and take him away to get the apple, pear and peach he is thinking about.

I didn't put it on a table but on an exotic beach, which for me makes the colors stand out.
